Samsung OneUI software updates tweeted regarding the upcoming update. Samsung is testing OneUI 5.1 with the existing Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The test firmware of OneUI 5.1 was spotted in Samsung servers first. Samsung may push the stable update to Galaxy S22 series users soon after the launch. The launch event of the upcoming Galaxy S23 series will probably take place in February 2023. Even though there won’t be a significant refresh in the UI, it may bring slight changes to distinguish between both UIs.

One change would be some lock screen customization options for One UI 5.1 based on Android 13. In the upcoming update, Samsung may integrate Android 13’s media player, partial screen mirroring, new gestures, and much more. OneUI 5.0 is one of the most excellent customizable UI out there. Samsung also rolls out its latest iteration of UI at much better speeds than other smartphones.
